We started making wine as a hobby, which quickly evolved into a passion project to fully explore the potentials of wines made from any fruit other than grapes. We’re so excited to start sharing the best of our wines with the world!
Every wine lover is familiar with the breadth of grape wine flavor profiles. There is the sweet Moscato for summer sipping, crisp Sauvignon Blanc to pair with grilled fish, buttery Chardonnay for your charcuterie board, playful Rosé to keep a conversation flowing, delicate Pinot Noir balanced with a herby ratatouille, robust Merlot to match a sharp cheese, and of course, a rich Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with your favorite cut of beef.
But what if wine could be more than this range?
While the flavors of grape wines have a fantastic range, at the end of the day, they are all made from one kind of fruit. When you think outside the grape as a source for wines, you open the door to a nearly inexhaustible variety of flavors that can complement foods, cheeses, and deserts in ways simply not possible with grape wines.
Our mission at Snowkiss Winery is to perfect the art of making high quality, full body wines from fruits other than grapes and to share those wines with the world. We have started this journey making wines from apricots, blackberries, blueberries, cranberries, peaches, plums, raspberries, and strawberries. We use a process that has taken over a decade to develop and perfect to convert these fruits into robust table wines and sumptuous dessert wines. Over the years, our wines have gathered over 100 medals from judged wine competitions, and we are thrilled to be working toward bringing these wines to your table soon.
